Selecting the right CRM / Social CRM combo

As I’m going through the process of evaluating SaaS based CRM and Social CRM at the moment, the infographic below is quite handy. We’re at a stage in our business cycle where we know we’ll need relevant CRM tools to grow the business (sorry, 37 signals, but we’ve moved on!). Particularly in the Australian market, it seems that SalesForce has become so top of mind and dominant in the market that it’s hard to know what if any other solutions may meet your needs.

Also, in this day and age, installing a CRM that has no social media monitoring capabilities – or no ability to integrate with a social CRM – is the quickest way to have to re-do all your work in the next couple of years. So if you’re an operations geek like me, you’ll appreciate some of the systems comparisons in the infographic below!
