How social networks use your data [infographic]

July 25, 2012

Baynote put together a nice little infographic highlighting the types and methods of data that you’re providing to the big social media networks. It’s a well packaged way to showcase this in a snapshot, and interestingly there’s quite a few variations between each of the major players. How they use the data also varies, with Pandora and Google actually ticking more of the boxes in terms of data use cases than Facebook does – despite Facebook being the poster-child for data capture and monetisation.
