The digital readiness of Australian SMEs
Nice little infographic released by Optus today, highlighting the digital readiness (or lack of) amongst Australian small business operators. While it seems that surveys like this are a dime a dozen and rarely survey more than a handful of SME operators (this one looked at the habits of 850 businesses), the highlight for me is the reminder that ‘the cloud’ is still a great mystery for the vast majority of SMEs (or ‘SMBs’ depending on your preference), and that, if you do the math, only 15% of Australian SMEs have a website that they are fully satisfied with.
The infographic speaks for itself, but thanks to Paul Wallbank for sharing with me. The full media release from Optus can be found here: http://bit.ly/sOGALt
