Google Wallet in action

Only a month after launch, Google Wallet has made leaps forward, on-boarding a number of retail merchants and adding a whole raft of new features such as:

• One touch Near Field Communication (NFC) payment.
• Loyalty rewards for individual merchants (to offer their customers).
• Exclusive deals for customer acquisition.
• Ability for consumer to save dals to their account for later uptake.

All good stuff, and I’m keen to get my hands on it whenever it rolls out here in Australia. Check out their promotional video below. I love the idea of just helping pay for people’s stuff at the checkout, to get them excited about the product and of course – talking about it to everyone when they get home.
